Your immune system knows you're sick before your doctor does.
Talon100 is pioneering a new era in diagnostics and disease monitoring. We use your immune response as an early warning system for disease, revealing problems early and precisely.
A Novel Paradigm
We are not an immunotherapy company.
We don't help the immune system cure disease.
Our mission:
We use the immune system to detect disease.
Our method:
Novel antigen-specific T- and B-cell assays,
coupled with cutting-edge seromics and flow cytometry.

Focused Science Driven by a Focused Business Model.
Addressing Unmet Needs in Validated Markets.
We started by identifying 144 FDA-approved, guideline-recommended, or commonly used clinical tests. Next, for each, we identified the specific settings or patient subgroups where each test performed poorly.
Phase I
Feasibility: Demonstrating that Talon100 platform signals are higher in diseased than healthy.
Phase II
Pivotal: Comparing the Talon100 platform to existing test in the target patients where there is unmet need.
Phase III
Out-Licensing: Transferring assay and results to a Dx, Med Device, or Pharma for further development and validation in large trial.
Our Pipeline
Early-Stage Cancer Detection
Overcoming the limits of circulating tumor DNA tests,
with earlier and potentially more sensitive Talon100 tests.
Neurodegenerative Disease
New tests for diagnosis and disease progression, aimed at providing guidance before clinical symptoms.
Rare Diseases
Tests that identify complications with enzyme replacement therapies
and that monitor disease progression.
Cardiovascular Disease
Tests aimed at non-invasive, early detection.
Leadership and Resources
Our leadership has a long history of innovation and invention in the immune monitoring.

Pratip K. Chattopadhyay, Ph.D.
CEO & Founder
A central figure in high-parameter single cell technologies, Dr. Chattopadhyay brings decades of experience in immunology, cytometry innovation, and entrepreneurship to Talon100.
Entrepreneurial Leadership
Founded a high-parameter immune analysis CRO and a data analysis company. Formerly Associate Professor (Pathology) and founding Director of NYU Langone Health's Precision Immunology Laboratory (PIL).
Immunology and Cytometry Pioneer
Developed the CD154 assay for antigen-specific T-cells (Nature Medicine, 2005). Reported the first 18-color flow cytometry experiments using quantum dots (Nature Medicine, 2006). Published the first papers reporting Brilliant Dyes and LIVE/DEAD fixable dyes for flow cytometry. Co-led development of 30-parameter flow cytometry with BD Biosciences.
Bioinformatics & Tools
Key contributor to bioinformatics tools including SPICE, flowType, R-chyoptimyx, CytoBrute, and TerraFlow. Creator of Color Wheel, a panel-building tool licensed by a major flow cytometry vendor. Contributed to CITE-seq development (Nature Methods, 2017).
Academic Credentials
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Ph.D.) and University of Virginia (B.A.). Associate Editor for Cytometry Part A. Scientific Chair for CYTO2019. Extensively published and cited, with an h-index of 46, placing him in the top 10% of biological scientists.
Our Lab
The Talon100 laboratories are equipped and operational, nearly eliminating capital expenses from our funding needs. The laboratory is 2700 square feet, with a monitored freezer room (including a -80C freezer and a 20K vial LN2 freezer). Dedicated cell culture and PCR spaces are set up, and office space, a conference room, and kitchen are ensuite. We have approximately $2.5 million of equipment in the laboratory, including all instrumentation needed for core Talon100 assays.

Partner With Us
We're seeking strategic partners, collaborators, and investors who share our vision of transforming early disease detection.
